About Us
Our journey began in the 1970s when we pioneered electrical switchboard manufacturing, initially crafting tailor-made solutions through metal welding. By the early 1980s, amidst economic challenges, we transitioned to designing complete knockdown metal (CKD) switchboards.
In the mid-1980s, during a recession, we secured a significant project: the construction of Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2, owned by CAAS. Our success in this competitive bid was driven by our ability to meet stringent tender requirements for a full type-test certificate. To ensure top-notch quality, we had our panel tested in
We proudly became the first Singaporean company to achieve FULLY TYPES certification to BS 5486, with a fault level of 50/80KA for 1/3sec.
In our quest to stay ahead in the industry, we introduced WEESMOD, a revolutionary knock-down structure designed to expedite the fabrication of switchboards. This initiative was led by a team of qualified engineers and a professional designer, who developed a unique and versatile modular system for switchboard fabrication suitable for various applications.
The hallmark of our design is the patented stainless-steel corners and the innovative fish tail bus bar support, which enhances the ability to withstand higher fault levels.
Throughout our manufacturing journey, we encountered numerous unforeseen challenges. To address these, our engineering team developed WeeScad, an AI-powered tool designed to tackle these unexpected issues, a solution that has become invaluable for the industry.
